I took this picture in Victoria last Spring. One entire section of the Sea wall was covered in Yellow Broom. It is a shrub and some people consider it a menace. I however, remember it from when I grew up and love it array of bright yellow flowers that seem to last for such long time.
The downside - they have no real scent.
