Weekends Never Last Long Enough!

I can't believe that it is Sunday night already and I haven't even posted since Friday!!
Friday Lorelei over at Musings sent me her old camera because she got a new one and my camera is at the repair shop. I am very grateful to her as I need this camera for work right now as well as to satisfy my addiction.
I was so excited that I took it to dinner with me and snapped pictures of plates and things. (I told you I was addicted to cameras). I could barely wait till I had a few hours to get out and snap pictures. Today I got my chance and I drove with Miss Lucy to the Fraser Valley and snapped pictures of everything on the way!
The Valley was particularly beautiful today. The sun was out and despite the fact that it is the beginning of November it was warm. Winter change was every where though. The mountains have just a dusting of snow on the very tops. The trees are almost bare having lost their glorious leaves in the fall breezes. The fish are spawning and the river banks are lined with their spent carcasses. The Eagles have returned to the Fraser to nest and breed till next spring. Yes everything is getting ready to settle for the winter. That is what I would like to do. Curl up and hibernate till next Spring. I envy bears. They get to pig out all summer getting fat as pigs and then sleep it all off till spring when they get up slim and start all over again. What a life!

I took lots of pictures and I will put up a flickr badge
