Thomas Crapper - September 1836 - January 27 1910

It would only be fitting if all of us  at that time of day we all have would take a moment to remember this man.

After all - just think what life might be like without the crapper!

It's amazing to think that the flush toilet, like so many other facilities we take for granted, not only had a beginning but also one that is so relatively recent.

We owe Thomas Crapper our gratitude not only for comfort and convenience (in both senses) but also for the improvements in public health that his system brought.

I raise my tea cup in his honour!
